Training sessions will be carried out on site in a safe designated area for practical and in a classroom environment for theory.
Learning outcome include:
RIICOM201E Communicate in the workplace
RIIWHS201E Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures
RIIWHS205E Control traffic with stop-slow bat
RIIWHS206 Control traffic with portable traffic control devices and temporary traffic signs

This timeframe is a guide only it may vary depending on your knowledge and skills level.
After you successfully complete the initial theory and practical training, you will be issued with a SafeWork NSW Statement of Completion (SOC) which allows you to work immediately under supervision within its period of validity (90 days from the issue date)
You will be required to complete a workplace live practical assessment in order to receive your SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training (TCWT) card.

Upon successful completion of your training and final live practical assessment, you will receive:
Allowances can be made for participants with language, literacy & numeracy issues. You will complete a short literacy and numeracy assessment on enrolment and if we identify any learning difficulties the Trainer/Assessor will be notified prior to your attendance for the course. Depending on your learning difficulty, the Trainer can spend extra time assisting you and/or do a verbal assessment with you.Â
