This training course is based on the unit of competency HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
This course describes the skills and knowledge required by a worker to provide a first aid response to a casualty in a range of situations including community and workplace settings.
Our first aid course will allow you to develop skills and knowledge and most importantly, confidence, to provide first aid treatment to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury. You will develop the skills to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, and promote recovery.
The course is delivered in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and applies to all workers or members of the community who may be required to provide CPR in the event of an emergency.
❖ Complete your theory online in your own time
❖ You only do Practical in-class
❖ You can do the practical session any day, 2 days a week.
❖ Access to the Internet. (Part of this course is delivered online)
❖ Identification document such as a driver’s licence, passport, photo card.
❖ Ability to attend one of our training centres to attend a practical assessment.
❖ Physical ability to perform at least 2 minutes of CPR on a manikin on the floor
❖ Average literacy and numeracy skills – access our free LL&N assessment tool level 1-3 if you are unsure.
A refresher required for the First Aid course every 36 months and 12 month for the HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(CPR )
We can do the full course in-class without doing the online part, but it will be a full day course.

INFORMATION ABOUT COVID19 NSW LOCKDOWN
Under the NSW recent COVID restrictions (June 2021), training and education is deemed an acceptable exemption to lockdown. As a result, all our training facilities are OPEN. Our team members and students safety and wellbeing is our number one priority. DLI Training is registered as COVID safe training provider, we have guidelines and measures in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and students.
We continue to provide training and education services to essential workers under the current Health Order 20th August 2021.
From Monday 23 Aug 2021, DLI TRAINING will be running permitted courses. Attendees are required to be authorised workers’, and a letter from their employer will be required to state that they are authorised-workers and they required to do the training.
