Refund

NOTE: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY

Terms & Conditions are as follows:
FEE PAYMENTS:
Students pay published fees via the email sent with an invoice attached and a Pay Online link. To ensure a place is secured in the preferred course date, students need to pay as soon as possible. If the class is full, the unpaid booking does not secure a place until the tuition fees are paid.
 
RESCHEDULE COURSE START DATE: 
Students may reschedule their course start date under the following conditions:

  • Students must use the Course Reschedule Request Form available by clicking on the link (link).
  • Students are eligible for one (1) reschedule with no fee provided it is submitted 48 hours prior to course start date
  • Requests made 48 HOURS PRIOR to the enrolled course start date will not incur a reschedule administration fee
  • Requests made 24 HOURS PRIOR to the enrolled course start date will incur a reschedule administration fee of $100

Should a student require last minute rescheduling due to sickness, exceptional family circumstances, or injury, you may request to waive the reschedule fee provided a medical certificate or relevant evidence is provided with the Course Reschedule Request Form
 
If your request is approved, you will be provided an amended Booking Confirmation & a new Invoice where the reschedule administration fee needs to be paid. This invoice must be paid on the day of your request. 
 
COURSE WITHDRAWAL AND REFUNDS:
 
Students may withdraw enrolment in a short course under the following refund conditions:

  • Students must use the Course Withdrawal Request Form available by clicking on the link (link).
  • Requests made 2 DAYS OR MORE PRIOR to the enrolled course start date will receive 80% refund for fees paid as a 20% administration fee will be deducted
  • Requests made 1 DAY OR LESS PRIOR to the enrolled course start date will not be eligible to receive a refund 
  • Requests made on the course start date or after will not be eligible to receive a refund
  • There is no refund for non-attendance
  • There is no refund for students who have undertaken training but are not yet ready to undertake SafeWork NSW Assessment

Students may withdraw enrolment in a full qualification under the following refund conditions:

  • Students must use the Course Withdrawal Request Form available by clicking on the link (link).
  • Requests made 14 DAYS OR MORE PRIOR to scheduled face to face training start date will receive a full refund for fees paid
  • Requests made 7 TO 13 DAYS PRIOR to scheduled face to face training start date will receive 90% refund for fees paid as a 10% administration fee will be deducted
  • Requests made 1 to 6 DAYS PRIOR to scheduled face to face training start date will receive 80% refund for fees paid as a 20% administration fee will be deducted
  • Requests made on the scheduled face to face training start date or after will not be eligible to receive a refund

Additional refund conditions:

  • In the event DLI Training cancels your course, a full refund of all fees paid will be provided
  • In the event the candidate chooses to enrol in an alternative course with DLI Training, fees will be fully transferable to that course.
  • In the event of a course for which the learner was enrolled is unavailable or no acceptable alternative course is available, fees are fully refundable. 
  • Extenuating circumstances where a student has to withdraw from a course for legitimate reasons such as sickness, exceptional family circumstances, the student may request a pro-rate refund less a 10% administration fee for assessment but must include relevant evidence such as medical certificates. The final decision will be at the discretion of the DLI management team based on evidence submitted
  • In the event that DLI Training cancels the training after the start date, affected students will be provided with a refund of the fees proportional to the amount of training not delivered.
  • In the event DLI Training cancels the training before the start date, affected students will receive a full refund
  • Where a refund has been approved, payment will be made within 14 days of receiving the refund request

Where a student’s enrolment is cancelled due to, but not limited to any of the following circumstances, no refund will be provided:

  • Cheating
  • Plagiarism
  • Behaviour contrary to DLI Training Code of Conduct
  • Lack of course progression
  • Requests made on the scheduled face to face training start date or after will not be eligible to receive a refund

The payment for approved refunds will be made within 14 days from the day of your request for the refund to appear in your account.
