Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is an assessment process that involves assessment of an individual’s relevant prior learning. Assessment will be based on your knowledge, skills and experience.

Doing a RPL will enable you to get a building and construction qualification in a much shorter time while you keep focusing on your day-to-day work and many other benefits which includes but not limited to:

  • No need to attend classes
  • Keep working and earn money
  • Get a qualification and test your knowledge and experience
  • Better work opportunity
  • Takes you shorter time than doing a class-based studying
  • Meet building and construction licence requirement

A refresher required for the CPR course every 12 month.

 HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(CPR )

Assessment methods may include:

  • Written questioning
  • Oral questioning
  • Practical demonstration
  • Case studies
  • Role plays
  • Research
  • Assignments
  • Projects

Assessment may occur in the classroom under supervision, at home or in the workplace. It may have time limitations or be flexible in terms of submission. These will vary depending on the specific course requirements.

It is the general policy of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) that a student must achieve a 100% result in each assessment.

The trainer will usually work with students to ensure that they understand the learnings of the unit and where possible the assessments.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with:

  • a Statement of attainment for this unit HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Validity: 12 Months
