With DLI Training’s Diploma of Building and construction, you will learn first hand how to manage medium size construction projects. This qualification will cover how to apply building codes, cost estimation, project quality, project risk, contracting, plan interpretation, worksite WHS, and much more in the construction of medium rise buildings.

What are the entry requirements?
No prerequisites for this course.
However, it’s preferable that you are or have:
- Currently working in building and construction sites and familiar with current construction procedures and terminology.
- CPC40120/CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building). You will also receive credit for approximately 11 to 12 Units from the required units in Diploma.
When does the course start?
There are TWO modes of delivery to choose from for the Certificate IV in Building course:
- DLI On-Site classes running weekly; classes are every Monday & Wednesday evening.
- RPL: Start anytime, fully online. A competency conversation will be arranged after evidence submission.
What's the duration of the course?
It depends on the mode of delivery you choose:
- Face to face Classes: 38 sessions (every Monday & Wednesday evening) attendance. Within 18 months of Enrolment.
- RPL: if you have all your evidence ready, it shouldn’t take you more than three months to get your certificate.
What are the Course fees, and is there any payment plan?
The course fee is $8,500.
- $1,500 deposit to secure your enrolment.
- Then $250 weekly for 24 weeks.
